I, Colton Thomas Bradford, take you, Madeline Grace Neumann, to be my wife, my partner, my confidant and my soulmate.
Over the past six years, you’ve gone from being a shy stranger, convinced she would never achieve her dreams to one of the strongest women I know. Today, in front of our family and friends, I promise to encourage and inspire you, to laugh with you in the good times, and to comfort you in times of sorrow and struggle. I promise to love you in good times and in bad, when life seems easy and when it seems hard, when our love is simple, and when it is an effort. I promise to cherish you always. These things I give to you today, and all the days of our life.
With our family and friends as witnesses, I, Madeline Grace Neumann, take you, Colton Thomas Bradford, to be my husband, my partner, my confidant and my soulmate.
There’s a verse in the Bible that talks about how love is patient and kind, how it is not boastful or proud. That is the way I would describe your love for me. You are one of the most patient men I know, and I thank God every day that you never gave up on us when I rejected you time and again.
I will laugh with you in times of joy and comfort you in times of sorrow. I will share in your dreams, and support you as you strive to achieve your goals. I will listen to you with compassion and understanding, and speak to you with encouragement. I will remain faithful to our vows for better or for worse, in times of sickness and health. You are my best friend and I will love and respect you always.
